Description
Attis Bodegas y Viñedos is located in the center of Val do Salnes, in Morouzos, a small village located on the slope of Mount Penaguda, overlooking the Arousa and Pontevedra estuaries. Linked to tradition, but with a cautious eye on modernity and the future and with a rigorous control of all production processes, they make these wines that are characterized by respecting and frankly enhancing the variety, assembling all its qualities as they can be its acidity, its minerality and its fruitfulness. Behind the Attis brand is the wine project of the Robustiano and Baldomero Fariña brothers, who, together with Jean François Hebrard, have set out to produce different wines, according to their variety, plot or production, bringing out each nuance and each aroma that provides the climate, the terroir and of course, the Atlantic. Inspired by his role in Greek mythology and his connection with the goddess Cibeles (goddess of nature), Attis, he guides the steps of this winery. He came to be a banner and who takes the reins of this family project to which he gives his name. Attis is the consequence of his deep admiration and respect for the vineyard and its terroir. Attis Coribante is a magnificent aged on lees white wine made with the Albariño, Caíño Blanco and Godello grape varieties by Attis Bodegas y Viñedos under the protection of the regulatory board of the Rias Baixas Designation of Origin. In Greek mythology, the Coribantes are a symbol of music and dance with which they celebrate the arrival of spring and worship the goddess of nature. In the same way, with this wine Attis Bodegas y Viñedos worships the minority and almost forgotten varieties of the Rias Baixas D.O. Coribante is the result of a mixture of native white varieties that perfectly complement each other, with a 12-month aging in oak barrels resulting in a complex and fresh wine. Production limited to 861 bottles.
