Description
Dona Elisa Winery was born in 2013, the result of perseverance and enthusiasm for creating a wine of excellent quality. Located in San Andrés, in the region of O Ribeiro, it enjoys excellent views of the entire valley from which you can glimpse the historic town of Ribadavia, with a great cultural, gastronomic and artistic tradition. Dona Elisa Winery is a ‘colleiteiro’ winery with Riberio D.O, family and small production, focused on an exclusive market where all details are taken care of and pampered, both in the design of its bottle and of course inside, where wines are produced that seek to reflect the character of the land and its people, respecting the tradition and teachings of their ancestors, especially to the ‘grandmother Elisa’, the woman who gives name to the winery and its wines. Canción de Elisa Tinto was born in 2016 with the native grape varieties Caiño, Brancellao and Sousón of Adega Dona Elisa within the protection of the regulatory board of Ribeiro Designation of Origin. The varieties (Galician castes) are part of the history of Adega Dona Elisa, one more within the set of intrahistories that comprise the eternal heroic tale of Ribeiro. “And I confess that every time I bring a glass of this wine to my lips I hear a rum-rum that, I think, is nothing other than Elisa’s symphony celebrating life, narrating history, enjoying the harvest.” Limited edition of 700 bottles. Canción de Elisa Tinto pairs very well with stews, red meats, sausages, cheeses…
