On an area of 4 Hectares, the Abadía de Tortoreos Winery is located in Setados (As Neves), between the municipalities of Arbo and Salvatierra, on the banks of the river Miño as it passes through the Condado region in the south of the province of Pontevedra, belonging to the Rías Baixas Designation of Origin, Sub-area of the Tea County. They have recovered 4 Hectares of vineyard full of history and tradition. Its vineyards are located on the banks of the river Miño, on steep slopes, which, favored by a privileged microclimate, produce grapes of exceptional quality and wines with a marked Atlantic character. They work with respect for tradition and nature, for this reason they apply natural viticulture methods that ensure expressive grapes with a marked personality. It is the tradition in which they faithfully believe and from which they obtain their “Albariño de Autor” wine, recovering the essence of their terroir and their most indigenous varieties. Condado de Tortoreos is a white wine made within the protection of the regulatory board of Rias Baixas Designation of Origin by the Abadia de Tortoreos Winery with the Albariño, Treixadura and Loureiro grape varieties. 4 selected hectares of land on the banks of the River Miño, with exceptional exposure on steep slopes, produce a wine with a clear Atlantic character, favored by a privileged microclimate, suitable for making the great Albariño wines of the area.
