Condes de Albarei Enxebre is a white wine made with 100% Albariño grapes by Adega Condes de Albarei within the protection of the regulatory board of Rias Baixas Designation of Origin. It is made exclusively with very ripe grapes from the oldest vineyards. The production process is based on an old and traditional method adapted to the modern technology of the winery that consists of a natural carbonic maceration. It is made 100% with Albariño grapes harvested by hand and selected in the vineyard and winery, grown in the Salnés Valley and from the oldest vines, over 40 years old, which grow in sandy and shallow soils.
Appearance: Golden yellow with greenish reflections.
Bouquet: On the nose it presents a good aromatic intensity, dominating the fruity aromas of apple, peach, on a subtle and elegant background of white flowers.
Palate: In the mouth the wine is fresh, glyceric, full-bodied and with a slightly bitter finish that provides it with great personality and complexity.
Adega Condes de Albarei was born in 1988 by the hand of some enthusiastic vine growers from the Salnés Valley whose dream was to produce albariños of the highest quality. The winery would soon become an obligatory reference for the Rías Baixas D.O. In 1991 Condes de Albarei obtained the gold medal in the Challenge International du Vin de Bordeaux. This award, the first obtained for a Spanish white wine, will allow the winery to internationalize its wines, marketed in markets as different as England, the United States, Mexico or Japan. It will be in 2008 when Condes de Albarei acquires the Pazo Baión winery, undertaking an important wine and wine tourism project. Adega Condes de Albarei produces wines of recognized quality with Albariño grapes, a variety of great aromatic expression and a long tradition of cultivation in the Salnés Valley.
