Appearance: It has a beautiful straw yellow colour with greenish flashes, clean and bright.
Bouquet: The nose has a high intensity highlighting the fruity and floral aromas of the Treixadura variety, where pear and pineapple dominate.
Palate: In the mouth it is sweet with a very good persistence and excellent aftertaste. It has great structure and body. It is silky and enveloping.
Bodegas Castro Rei S.L. is a family business run by Rafael Gómez and Maria Dominguez who started this project in 1998 betting on the production of quality wines with a marked personality. Although the winemaking tradition is given to them by their ancestors, none of them had decided to take out a brand of wine and commercialize it. From the beginning, technology and tradition have always been combined, which has helped them to obtain several awards at the famous Ribeiro Wine Fair. The philosophy of this winery lies mainly in the production of quality and not quantity; for this, serious and responsible work is carried out that satisfies all its customers. As it is a family business, the distribution of tasks in the winery is based on the needs of the moment, so everyone collaborates in the work of the vineyard, bottling and placing the wines on the market. For this, refresher courses are continuously carried out that help to perform the functions that the company needs efficiently. Among the most immediate objectives of the winery, is the acquisition of vineyards for the planting of native varieties and thus be able to give the quality that the wines deserve. To date, and since only one brand of wine was marketed, only the Galician market was worked through specialized distributors and the market outside Galicia through a tourist demand that expressly come to the winery to buy their wines.
