Bouquet: Powerful nose entry, phosphorus, ripe citrus fruit and marked minerality.
Palate: Live acidity, good center on the palate, salty, iodized and with a long finish on the palate.
Bodegas Gerardo Méndez´s estate is located in the Salnés valley and has an area of 12 hectares divided into 81 plots located between 100 and 115 meters high. It is estimated that these strains may be approximately two centuries old, since they predate phylloxera. In this estate and winery, popular culture prevails, treasured by three generations that currently represents Gerardo Méndez Lázaro, a winemaker of this time, respectful of the legacy received, committed to the quality parameters that today’s taster demands. The family farm looks into the distance to the sea of Arousa and the mouth of the Pontevedra estuary.
