Sparkling wine Albariño Tollodouro Brut is a sparkling wine made with 100% Albariño grapes by Adegas Tollodouro and encompassed in the regulatory board of Rias Baixas Designation of Origin. Starting from a base wine of the Albariño variety, Adegas Tollodouro produces this sparkling wine by the traditional Champagne method, being in the rhyme phase for a period of 9 months, at a controlled temperature of 12ºC – 13ºC in its heated cava room; decanting for a period of one month with movement of the bottles.
Appearance: Beautiful straw yellow, clean and bright, with an enigmatic release of fine bubbles, slow and constant.
Bouquet: Powerful, sparkling, happy and alive. Elegant aroma of candied white fruits, pleasant floral notes and a subtle toasted touch of light aging.
Palate: Tasty and elegant, with a fine and creamy bubble, well integrated. Balanced, refreshing acidity and very sweet. Unmistakable notes of typicality where ripe apples and candied citrus stand out.
Adegas Tollodouro was born in 2000 with the idea of producing high quality wines, within the Rias Baixas Designation of Origin, taking advantage of the resources and quality offered by its 92 hectares of its own vineyards, from which they select the best plots to produce 10,000 bottles of Tollodouro and 20,000 bottles of Pontellón. The farm is located in Vilachán (Tomiño – Pontevedra). Its altitude above sea level ranges from 200 to 350 m. The distance to the Miño River is 3.5 km and to the Atlantic Ocean 10 km. It is a slope facing south, between the Bravos and Pego streams. The south orientation guarantees a good insolation, which contributes to a perfect ripening of the grape. The granitic, sandy and highly permeable soil allows them to obtain very fine wines capable of highlighting varietal aromas to the maximum.
