Granbazán Wineries, founded in 1981, is located in the Salnés Valley, in the heart of the Rías Baixas (Galicia). It is a beautiful neoclassical building covered in blue tile with a strong Indian influence, facing north, protected from the hot rays of the south and surrounded by old Albariño vineyards. It is undoubtedly one of the first and most beautiful châteaux in Galicia, where noble materials blend with the landscape and architecture is at the service of the best grapes. The Tremoedo plantation is a benchmark in the Rías Baixas D.O; just 3 km from Cambados, it is a dream destination to enjoy the surroundings, get to know the viticulture of the area and taste the full range of its Granbazán wines. A constant in the Granbazán project has been to put the utmost effort into planting and caring for the vineyard, selecting the best grape from the moment of picking. In addition to the 14 hectares around the winery, Granbazán has 3 hectares in Covas del Lobos. The chosen system is the espalier system typical of humid and rainy areas, which causes the leaves and clusters to expand, seeking light in the background parallel to the ground at 1.80 m in height, which favours aeration, they drop vineyard treatments and maturation is harmonious. Without a doubt, Granbazán is currently a benchmark in R & D & I in the field of viticulture and enology. Granbazán Etiqueta Verde is made from the best cold macerated musts, mixing the tears and soft pressing of the Albariña grape. Grapes from vines over 35 years old, coming from land with high granite content, on the banks of the Arousa estuary, with a marked Atlantic character. Granbazán Etiqueta Verde is a classic albariño cut with the typicality of the Salnés subzone, where citrus and green apple aromas predominate, with a fresh acidity, dry, and an aftertaste with salty memories.
