It all began in the 17th century, in the early 1700s when the first Albor bought the house in the town of Coedo (Cenlle), with Antero Albor who started the winery, later passing on to his son Victorino Albor and this in turn to Alfonso Albor. It is currently owned by the fourth generation of the Albor family, with Mónica Albor being the current manager and owner of it. It is in the first period where its production is only destined for domestic consumption, and at the beginning of 2004, it is when the winery begins to put its wines into commercial production under the name of “Pazos de Albor”.
