Appearance: Clean and bright straw yellow colour.
Bouquet: Aroma of good intensity harmoniously assembled, with a clear predominance of fruit notes, apricot, citrus, pear in syrup, on a light background of delicate lees.
Palate: Its passage through the mouth is very pleasant, honeyed, well balanced, long and with a final sensation of sweet fruit that invites you to continue drinking.
It all began in the 17th century, in the early 1700 when the first Albor bought the house in the town of Coedo (Cenlle), with Antero Albor who started the winery, later passing on to his son Victorino Albor and this in turn to Alfonso Albor. It is currently owned by the fourth generation of the Albor family, with Mónica Albor being the current manager and owner of it. It is in the first period where its production is only destined for domestic consumption, and at the beginning of 2004, it is when the winery begins to put its wines into commercial production under the name of “Pazos de Albor”. Mónica Albor took over from her father, Alfonso Albor, in the field work, taking care of the vineyards with the same care that he did, learning from his advice and family secrets in the field of viticulture. “After many years of study and work in the field we have achieved wines of excellent quality.” Monica Albor materialized a total makeover in her wines: bottle, label and name. But the essence remains the same. Bodegas Albor works only with grapes from its 2.5 hectares, in which the Treixadura dominates.
