Description
With an area of close to 70 hectares, the Pazo de Rubianes estate is today a benchmark in the world of camellia and wine from the Rías Baixas in Galicia. Pazo de Rubianes Albariño is made with grapes from the strains of the upper area, collected in boxes of 17 kg, which are processed in the cellar within less than 3 hours after being harvested. After a cold maceration, the fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. After the fermentation, the wine is aged on lees, to finish with the cold stabilized and the subsequent bottling. Its quiet elaboration of between 8 and 10 months guarantees an optimum long-term consumption. The winery is located in a historic Spanish building from which inherits its name, in the Salnés region, in the Ría de Arousa (Pontevedra). Pazo de Rubianes Albariño is a white wine with a very careful preparation, whose main protagonist is the excellent quality of the grapes used. It is a broad wine, with good acidity, fatty, slightly bitter, fresh, long, with character. It is ideal to pair with fish, seafood, rice, Japanese cuisine, octopus, cheeses, pork… A quality wine and a great example of Albariño from the Rías Baixas
