Via Arxéntea Winery is a winery with a long family tradition; it is located in the town of Villaza, in the Monterrei Town Hall. It began its journey in 2007 and owes its name to the Camino de Santiago. Its vineyards have an area that exceeds four hectares, in which the Treixadura and Godello grape varieties are mainly grown. Despite its short history, the wines from this winery have received different recognitions in prestigious wine forums and high scores in various specialized publications. Part of Vía Arxéntea’s production, which exceeds 30,000 liters per year, is exported to countries such as Germany, Norway or the United States. Grape varieties; Godello, Treixadura and Mencía. The Via Arxéntea Winery launched its first vintage of Vía Arxéntea Blanco in 2008 based on a philosophy of making high quality wines in small production, taking maximum care of all the production processes and the cultivation of the vine.
