Vía Arxéntea Blanco is a sensational white wine made with the Godello and Treixadura grape varieties by Via Arxéntea Winery within the protection of the regulatory board of Monterrei Designation of Origin. The Via Arxéntea Winery launched its first vintage of this wine in 2008 based on a philosophy of making high quality wines in small production, taking maximum care of all the production processes and the cultivation of the vine.
Appearance: Pale yellow colour with green and lemon reflections.
Bouquet: Aromas of white fruits and apple, peach and mango; citrus and quince notes, bay leaf and leaf litter.
Palate: Good structure and light fat, enveloping and glyceric texture, with a sweet and very well balanced point, good acidity and long and fruity aftertaste.
Via Arxéntea Winery is a winery with a long family tradition; it is located in the town of Villaza, in the Monterrei Town Hall. It began its journey in 2007 and owes its name to the Camino de Santiago. Its vineyards have an area that exceeds four hectares, in which the Treixadura and Godello grape varieties are mainly grown. Despite its short history, the wines from this winery have received different recognitions in prestigious wine forums and high scores in various specialized publications.
