Viña Cartín was founded in the Salnés Valley in 1977. In 2003 Viña Cartín opens facilities, changing its location to an old winery, rehabilitated with the utmost respect and seeking to combine its artisanal character with new technologies and forms of production. Since its inception, the Terras de Lantaño Bodega y Viñedos winery has been growing and evolving, changing its facilities to a more functional and technical construction, always supporting its tradition, its people, its land and its culture to obtain the best results. Its vineyards located in the Salnés Valley are in the municipalities of Vilagarcía de Arousa, Vilanova de Arousa, Meis and Portas. The optimal conditions of its land and the climate favor the correct ripening of the grape, achieving an adequate balance between acidity and sweetness. Their own vineyards guarantee them, in quantity and quality, the raw material necessary to make their wines, which are processed with the utmost care and respect from the field to the bottle. Viña Cartin is a wine different from others wines made by this winery because part of the production goes through a malolactic fermentation process with which the acidity levels are naturally lowered. Viña Cartin is a harmonious, tasty and structured wine, delicate and easy to drink.
